Wellness

A glass room on the meadow, and a rhythm you'll fall into by your second morning.

The Sky View Pavilion is the heart of everything guests do here — wellness, events and dining under one beautiful roof. Glass on three sides, timber overhead, warm stone underfoot, and the Elephant View Meadow stretching out beyond the glass.

Why people come

Healing isn't just for the elephants here.

Most guests arrive carrying something: burnout, a grief that hasn't moved, anxiety that won't switch off, or a big life change that nobody gave them time to absorb.

We're not a clinic, and we don't pretend to be one. What we offer is the same gift we give the herd: space, quiet, unhurried days, and no obligation to be anywhere or be anyone. It's amazing what that alone can do.

The daily rhythm

Six classes a day. Come to all of them, or none at all.

The schedule never changes, and it never depends on the herd. Most mornings they're somewhere in the view — the meadow, the watering hole, the treeline — and practicing with them out there is an experience we've never found words good enough for.

Groups stay small — sixteen for movement classes, twenty-four for sound. Private instruction is always available in the treatment rooms or on your own deck.

Beyond the Sky View Pavilion

Treatment rooms, cold plunges, and blissful stretches of nothing at all.

Bodywork

Deep tissue, lymphatic, craniosacral and myofascial release in three timber treatment rooms. Sixty or ninety minutes.

Heat and cold

Cedar sauna, cold plunge and a hot pool set into the rock above the south lake. Open dawn to curfew.

Breath and stillness

Guided breathwork whenever you'd like it, and a silent room with no windows, no clock, and nothing to do — which turns out to be exactly what some days need.

Membership

For people who want this to be part of their life, not just their vacation.

Memberships mean steady, year-round support for the sanctuary — exactly the kind of income a thirty-year promise to an elephant needs. And they mean this place gets to be part of your regular life.

Retreats

Four nights, sixteen people, one long exhale.

Hosted retreats run eight times a year, and they usually sell out on the member list before we can even announce them.

Each one is built around a single theme — grief, rest, transition, creative work — and each includes the full class program, all meals, one treatment, a private evening with the care team, and four nights in a village hut or water bungalow.

From $4,900 per person

Private retreats

Companies, boards, foundations and families can take the whole property. We build the schedule together with you, keep the same gentle quiet hours as always, and send ten percent of the fee straight to the care endowment.

It's popular with organizations who want their people to leave caring about something bigger than the agenda.

You'll come here for your own rest. You'll leave having given someone else thirty years of theirs.
